The teaching and mentorship was done at the highest level across the board. I have never grown so much musically in a short amount of time!

We put singers’ needs first.

Unlike any other training you’ve heard of, AVAA is designed with the real needs of young singers in mind. Our unique program includes daily private sessions for every single participant!

The vocal arts are cross-disciplinary by nature. Here, you will explore components of our art form that are often missing in university programs. In addition to vocal instruction and acting classes, you will receive coaching for style, language/ diction, body work (yoga and Alexander Technique), and strategies for maintaining physical and mental health that will ensure smooth sailing throughout your career.

Our two-week intensive is a life-changing opportunity to learn from world-class teachers, grow as an artist and a person, and gain valuable stage experience – while enjoying time in one of Oregon’s favorite vacation destinations.

Our world-class faculty
love to teach.

Experience the breakthroughs that are possible when teachers really care! Our well-designed program is captained by faculty who have been successful in both their performaning and teaching careers. They feel equally passionate about both.

Within minutes of town, you can enjoy envigorating hikes, old lighthouses and bunkers, brisk sea air, fresh seafood, and miles of sandy beaches which are sometime nearly empty!
